Name An Anti-Poaching Puppy!

We have recently welcomed a male Springer Spaniel puppy to our canine family, and he has some very big paws to fill. Born on July 10th, 2026, this purebred pup has been fathered by none other than our legendary ammunition detection dog, Drum!

Following in his father’s footsteps, our new pup is starting his journey to become a fully certified ammunition detection dog. Right now, he’s mastering basic leash walking and over the next six months, he’ll work through a full training program in ammunition detection. If all goes well, he’ll join our K9 handlers for a refresher training session in early 2027 and work towards earning his official certificate from the Kenya Police.

Once qualified, he will step up to take over for Drum, who is preparing for a well-deserved retirement after EIGHT years of dedicated service.
